IAAPA Orlando 2001 - The Show You Never Outgrow

A Convention Visit by: Ted Cromwell (CoasterFanatic)

Every year members of IAAPA meet for "the industry's single biggest source for moneymaking ideas". Park owners, operators, investor, and industry vendors gather and set the stage for what promises to be the amusement trends of tomorrow.

Not only do the park owners and operators attend, but so do coaster enthusiasts and fans alike. In hopes of finding out what the next big thing is, many "fanatics" gather around the booths of such companys as Bolliger and Mabillard, Intamin, S&S, PTC, and many others. This convention is one of the only places in the world where you can view first-hand the current works and future dreams of the amusement elite.

On Saturday November 17th, CoasterFanatics went to cover the event. To keep our members informed of what is going on in the industry, I have posted some pictures from the event. I hope that you enjoy the IAAPA feature as much as I enjoyed the show, and I hope to see some of you next season aboard one of these new scream machines.
